Meus Poemas Favoritos, Pedro Tinoco e Bukowski

poema.
isto é o canivete de um mendigo
isto é uma tulipa
isto é um soldado marchando
através de Madrid.
isto é você em seu próprio
leito de morte
isto é Li Po rindo
lá embaixo
isto não é a porra de um
poema.
isto é um cavalo adormecido
uma borboleta em
sua mente
isto é o circo do
demônio
você não está lendo isto
numa folha

luz

o elefante sonha
com você
agora
a curva do espaço
se dobra e
gargalha

você pode morrer agora
você pode morrer agora como
todas as pessoas deveriam
morrer:
grandes,
vitoriosas,
escutando a música,
sendo a música,
retumbando,
retumbando,
retumbando.

Abaixo, o original:

The illusion is that you are simply
reading this poem.
the reality is that this is
more than a
poem.
this is a beggar's knife.
this is a tulip.
this is a soldier marching
through Madrid.
this is you on your
death bed.
this is Li Po laughing
underground.
this is not a god-damned
poem.
this is a horse asleep.
a butterfly in
your brain.
this is the devil's
circus.
you are not reading this
on a page.
the page is reading
you.
feel it?
it's like a cobra. it's a hungry eagle circling the room.

this is not a poem. poems are dull,
they make you sleep.

these words force you
to a new
madness.

you have been blessed, you have been pushed into a
blinding area of
light.

the elephant dreams
with you
now.
the curve of space
bends and
laughs.

you can die now.
you can die now as
people were meant to
die:
great,
victorious,
hearing the music,
being the music,
roaring,
roaring,

Os Mais Belos Poemas de Amor

CONTANDO AS BATIDAS
(Robert Graves)

Você, amor, e eu
(Ele sussurra) você e eu
E se não mais do que só você e eu
Que importa pra você ou eu?

Contando as batidas
Contando as lentas batidas do coração
Acordados eles jazem

Dia claro
Noite, e dia claro
Ainda assim a tempestade desabará sobre eles algum dia
De um céu amargo

Onde deveremos estar
(Ela sussurra) onde deveremos estar
Quando a morte bater à porta
Ó, onde deveremos estar
Você e eu?

Em nenhum outro lugar
(Ele sussurra)apenas aqui
Como estamos, aqui, juntos, aqui e agora
Sempre você e eu

Contando as batidas
Contando as lentas batidas do coração
Acordados eles jazem

(tradução livre de Luiz Henriques Neto)

Counting the Beats

You, love, and I,
(He whispers) you and I,
And if no more than only you and I
What care you or I ?
Counting the beats,
Counting the slow heart beats,
The bleeding to death of time in slow heart beats,
Wakeful they lie.

Cloudless day,
Night, and a cloudless day,
Yet the huge storm will burst upon their heads one day
From a bitter sky.

Where shall we be,
(She whispers) where shall we be,
When death strikes home, O where then shall we be
Who were you and I ?

Not there but here,
(He whispers) only here,
As we are, here, together, now and here,
Always you and I.

Counting the beats,
Counting the slow heart beats,
The bleeding to death of time in slow heart beats,
Wakeful they lie.
